Vern Tees

My name is Vern Tees. I have lived in the Clive community all my life. I attended school in Clive, the Baptist Leadership Training School in Calgary, and completed a horticulture diploma at Olds College. I have enjoyed travelling and have worked in agriculture in Denmark and Australia. I am a farmer who has maintained interest in this endeavor which has taught me that we do reap what we sow.  A verse from my bible school days has stayed with me “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needed not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”,  II Tim 2:15.

I have a wife, Helle, and we have three grown up and married children. We are also blessed with several grandchildren.

We have attended the Clive Baptist Church throughout our married life where we continue to serve the Lord. The Clive community and our church family have added such richness to our lives and we are truly grateful for His many blessings.
